Norfolk, Virginia - The James Barry-Robinson Institute is excited to announce the start of the H.U.G.S. on Mugs campaign beginning in November 2023.

JBRI Foster Care Services has been helping children find loving homes for nearly 25 years. Currently, Virginia has over 5,000 children in foster care, and JBRI will be partnering with local coffee shops to raise awareness.

The need for loving foster parents continues to grow, so when those in Hampton Roads pick up their morning coffee at participating locations, they will find more details on how to become a foster parent. The team at JBRI Foster Care has an exceptional reputation for offering new and existing foster parents a supportive and nurturing environment, and they look forward to growing the number of families and children they serve.

The James Barry-Robinson Institute (JBRI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, teens, young adults, and their families. JBRI Foster Care Services provides treatment foster care and manages foster parent recruitment and training in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Most of our foster families live in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Newport News, and Hampton.
