The James Barry-Robinson Institute is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, teens, young adults and their families.
We do this through our four program areas:
Treatment Foster Care
JBRI provides treatment foster care, also called therapeutic foster care, for children in Hampton Roads, and manages foster parent recruitment and training. We are based in Norfolk, and serve communities across Hampton Roads.
Next Step To Success
Next Step To Success is a program for youth 13-16 years old in Norfolk, Virginia, providing academic enrichment, character education curriculum, field trips and special events.
The Barry Robinson Center
The Barry Robinson Center is a premier non-profit behavioral health system with a residential treatment program for youth from military-connected families.
Medication Management
Medication Management Specific to Your Needs. The James Barry-Robinson Institute offers a range of services, including routine check-ins and ongoing prescription management.
